Key findings
The report outlines the following progress since 2014 on a number of matters relating to race, racism and xenophobia, including the development of hate speech counter-narrative and tackling hate motivated violence. Suggested improvements include addressing discrimination on ground of language; diversity management in education e.g. banning of wearing headscarves. Recommendations include human rights and diversity education; development of a common reporting system for collecting data on racists and homophobic/transphobic related crime for reliable data on hate speech and violence motivated by hate.

The working methods for the preparation of the reports involve documentary analyses, a visit to the country concerned, and then a confidential dialogue with the national authorities.
